One-of-a-Kind Handmade Hurdy-Gurdy

A fascinating handmade hurdy-gurdy, also known as a vielle à roue, in good condition with a handcrafted wooden body, hand-cranked wheel, multiple strings, tuning hardware and traditional key mechanism. The wheel acts much like a continuous violin bow as it turns against the strings, giving this unusual instrument its distinctive sound. A fantastic find for a folk musician, instrument collector or anyone who appreciates unique handmade craftsmanship.
