The WW Kimball company was founded in Chicago in the late 1800s and quickly became a competitive manufacturer of pianos and organs. They were later sold to Jasper, and then renamed Kimball International. Kimball International was one of the largest American piano manufacturers during the 20th century. Their pianos were built to be durable family and institutional instruments. They are generally considered solid mid-market pianos. This piano was made in the late 20th century, and features a pleasing clear tone and light effortless action. Would be an excellent piano for an advanced student.
