Founded in Boston in 1823, Chickering was one of America's premier piano manufacturers and was known for producing instruments favored by professional musicians, concert halls, and distinguished homes. Chickering was endorsed by top piano soloists such as Louis Moreau Gottschalk and Franz Liszt.  This piano offers classic craftsmanship, timeless styling, and a warm, rich tone that makes it a stunning centerpiece for any room. The cabinet presents beautifully, the keys are in good condition, and the piano is ready for its next home. It was made in the early 1930s and appears to have been restrung and well kept since then.
